Mission Statement

The mission of the North Carolina Vending Association is to be the primary association of the professional vending/food service industry in North Carolina.

The association will serve its members needs as follows:

Operate an effective legislative program

Serve as a voice for the state's vending/food service industry

Promote professionalism

Subscribe to an industry Code of Ethics

Promote professional educational opportunities

Carry out other board of directors' directed activities

A tax-exempt organization must make its application for recognition of tax exemption (Form 1023 or 1024) readily available for in-person public inspection.These documents must be available during regular business hours at the organization's principal office and at regional or district offices with three or more employees.

The application must be accompanied by all materials, such as articles of incorporation and bylaws, submitted to support the application (with certain exceptions). All correspondence to and from the Internal Revenue Service regarding the application must also be included. This could include but is not limited to the IRS "determination letter" affirming the organization's tax-exempt status, all questions to the organization from the IRS, and the organization's answers. The organization's three latest annual information returns (Form 990 or 990-EZ), including all schedules and attachments filed with such returns, also must be available.
